I’m a full-stack web developer for a small company in Western New York that you’ve never heard of. I have a BA in economics from a university that you probably have heard of, but in my experience that’s often worse than having no economics education at all (“a little knowledge is a dangerous thing” and all that).

This is a personal blog where I write about whatever happens to interest me at the moment, usually tech, economics, and whatever else would bore someone at a dinner party. I expect to be wrong about a great many things that I write about, but that’s part of the fun.

Contacting Me

This blog doesn’t have comments because, frankly, I just don’t want to have to moderate a comments section. If you want to get in touch with me you can shoot me an email at [email protected] or find me on Twitter at @livcarman. I’m really not active on social media, so email is probably the better bet.

This blog itself is powered by Jekyll and hosted by GitHub Pages. It sits behind the CloudFlare CDN. The (very simple) theme is my own creation, though the SVG icons are from Typicons.
